Dealing with Life in hard times

Hi,

When we have everything going smooth, no one cares to give Life a break, a thought. In our good times, we seldom pray or remember the value of our near and dear ones. When we have everyone looking at us, we our self feel like a super human and at times behave rudely with others. These, could be a reason my friend why our destiny is sometimes against our desire. This could be a reason why we face hardships..

Now, a bigger problem arises when facing a problem, we panic. We shout, cry, hate, disbelief, stay alone and do not listen to any other person. We take decisions that we feel right, but don't give it a second thought, if it doesn't work we take another decision. Thus decision after decision, yet nothing happens.
There is a basic principle in driving school, if you are going downhill - put the car in the same gear as would be needed to go up-hill. there is another principle of life, whatever theory works for one task could be easily applied in another task. Thus, you should act in the manner you should have acted while you were in the good times of your life. You were carefull about your friends and family, you were giving time to yourself, taking advice & experience from other people before doing a new thing etc. But people don't do such things. They rather stay alone and make life of others tough too. It is a known fact that time is the biggest healer, so give time some time.

*If there is a loss of a loved one, you should become the support for others.
*If their is monetary loss, you will learn the value of money & saving. You should re-construct your plans to regain what you have lost.
*If you have separated from your partner, learn to listen to each other. Lack of interaction and understanding leads to separations.
These are not the only solutions, but are some actions that we take when we are having luck in our favor.

One thing you should give most importance is, give yourself more time. Being alone for some time & thinking positively helps a lot. Our Mind is the most powerful device we have, believe in it. Give it some time to think and find out solutions for you. When we strain our mind and think a lot, our Mind doesn't think of its own, but our problems give it suggestions and pressure. Our Mind works when it is free and relaxed. Even if you don't know how to meditate & Yog, still just sit alone and take deep breaths. Try not to think anything and let ideas flow in. Even if nothing works follow this routine for few days, preferably for ever, even after things start going your way. Give time to yourself and see how it helps you. Continue giving happiness to your loved ones by keeping a smiling face, their smile will give you energy to work. Bad time will take its time, it is already there, so why to make our self and others sad by it ! Smile during that time too, give yourself more time. Read, Listen to music, give time to your hobbies, to your friends. It will ease the problem and your relaxed mind will find better ways to deal with your problems.

Good time is a test of self control & humbleness, bad time is a test of our belief, knowledge & character. In short, Dealing your Life in your hard time in a better way teaches you to enjoy your good times in a better way. Happy Living.

About TRATAK exercise

Tratak is one of the most famous Yogic exercise. You just type it in any search engine & see the result.

But, let me simplify it to you..

1) light up a candle and place it on a table or on a stool ( if you are sitting on floor ), point is, it should be in line with your eyes. ( 1 min )

2) then stare at the light for 2-5 minutes, without blinking.. (DON'T STRAIN YOUR EYES) Gradually you may increase the time up to 5 minutes. ( max. 5 mins )

3) Now close your eyes and imagine this candle's light in between your eyebrows ( Agya Chakra) / or just imagine this light, try to visualize it. Duration for visualization has to be same to the time you stared at the light. ( max. 5 mins )

4) relax your eyes by putting ur palms on your closed eyes & sooth them for some time. ( 1 min )

Do this exercise in the morning or evening.

This exercise provides good exercise to your brain, improves memory & concentration plus it improves your eyesight. If possible use a Deepak of Ghee instead of candle.

Wishing you best of Health & Happiness forever..

Our Mind Knows Magic

Conscious Mind, Sub Conscious Mind and Super Conscious Mind works for us throughout our life for 24 hours, non stop. Yet we know least about our ever functional - most efficient power of life - Mind. Our great ancestors knew about the powers and capacity of our mind. We read in our books that they used to perform ESPs, Telepathy, Out of Body Experiences, etc with ease and these powers used to play an important part in their lives. Let go of these advance powers of Mind, even if we take a little care of it, we will get rid of several basic complexities and problems like Memory Loss, Concentration, Confidence level, etc.

Our Conscious Mind works according to our efforts and need like thinking, memorizing, recalling, writing, speaking, etc.
Our Sub Conscious Mind works for our body and our needs on its own. It is the reason behind why we don't forget to breath, Our Heartbeats, Dreams all are controlled by our Sub Conscious Mind.
Our Super Conscious Mind guides us and helps us in every circumstance. But one should know how to receive its assistance.

The home of our mind is our whole body, but the brain and spinal cord holds the major part of it. Our brain the most neglected, yet the most important part of our body. We eat, drink & plan our routine according to our looks, eyesight, strength, etc but not according to the requirements of our brain. If we only breath properly or do Pranayam than our brain receives its full quota of Oxygen. Doing Yog Aasans improves the blood circulation to our brain.

Now, lets come to Brain's exercises.Brain is made up of several neurons and hundreds of neurons die each day due to lack of exercise and no new neurons are developed. It has been scientifically proved that by providing mental exercise to our brain, even new neurons are formed.

It is said that our brain has two sections 1) Left Part 2) Right Part. Left Part of our brain does the logical things & Right Part of our brain does the creative things. So in order to provide an exercise to our brain we need such a task that requires both - logic & creativity in it. There are many day to day work that requires logic & creativity in it, but as we are used to those works, they are done as a routine work and no extra effort from our brain is done. Thus, in order to provide exercise we need to do some new activity or do the old work differently. The easiest way to improve concentration is by doing "Tratak" a Yogic exercise. Students & Practitioners can visit my blog www.braininstitute.blogspot.com for more information on this subject and small exercises.

Our Mind, no doubt is a great magician and it is God's greatest blessing to human beings. But just possessing the power is not enough. It is time we devote some constructive time daily towards our Brain's power, its retention and improvement and using our mind we give back some precious knowledge to this world for our future generations.

Basic - Time Man - age – ment

For those who need time management to do their work, the problem is, they do not want to do the work

Thus, the effort has to be made by the person to remove their problems & barriers regarding that work. Time management is a program to self-asses ones efficiency per hour or per day. It is a constant watch on our schedule of what we are doing & what we shouldn’t do.

To begin with, we need to carry a notebook with an hourly table made for our working hours. Than, every hour write down what you have done during that hour. At the end of the day, analyze this table & note down the hours you should have spent more efficiently.

Repeat this exercise for a week; by this time you must have improved your efficiency by 100%, if not more.
