Our Mind Knows Magic

Conscious Mind, Sub Conscious Mind and Super Conscious Mind works for us throughout our life for 24 hours, non stop. Yet we know least about our ever functional - most efficient power of life - Mind. Our great ancestors knew about the powers and capacity of our mind. We read in our books that they used to perform ESPs, Telepathy, Out of Body Experiences, etc with ease and these powers used to play an important part in their lives. Let go of these advance powers of Mind, even if we take a little care of it, we will get rid of several basic complexities and problems like Memory Loss, Concentration, Confidence level, etc.

Our Conscious Mind works according to our efforts and need like thinking, memorizing, recalling, writing, speaking, etc.
Our Sub Conscious Mind works for our body and our needs on its own. It is the reason behind why we don't forget to breath, Our Heartbeats, Dreams all are controlled by our Sub Conscious Mind.
Our Super Conscious Mind guides us and helps us in every circumstance. But one should know how to receive its assistance.

The home of our mind is our whole body, but the brain and spinal cord holds the major part of it. Our brain the most neglected, yet the most important part of our body. We eat, drink & plan our routine according to our looks, eyesight, strength, etc but not according to the requirements of our brain. If we only breath properly or do Pranayam than our brain receives its full quota of Oxygen. Doing Yog Aasans improves the blood circulation to our brain.

Now, lets come to Brain's exercises.Brain is made up of several neurons and hundreds of neurons die each day due to lack of exercise and no new neurons are developed. It has been scientifically proved that by providing mental exercise to our brain, even new neurons are formed.

It is said that our brain has two sections 1) Left Part 2) Right Part. Left Part of our brain does the logical things & Right Part of our brain does the creative things. So in order to provide an exercise to our brain we need such a task that requires both - logic & creativity in it. There are many day to day work that requires logic & creativity in it, but as we are used to those works, they are done as a routine work and no extra effort from our brain is done. Thus, in order to provide exercise we need to do some new activity or do the old work differently. The easiest way to improve concentration is by doing "Tratak" a Yogic exercise. Students & Practitioners can visit my blog www.braininstitute.blogspot.com for more information on this subject and small exercises.

Our Mind, no doubt is a great magician and it is God's greatest blessing to human beings. But just possessing the power is not enough. It is time we devote some constructive time daily towards our Brain's power, its retention and improvement and using our mind we give back some precious knowledge to this world for our future generations.
